you know this SB is the real deal as soon as you unscrew the lid. the consistency is perfect (if you're looking for "creamy" then unrefined SB is not for you!) and it melts into your skin in about a minute, as it's supposed to. the scent is very light and pleasant (IMO!). a little goes a long way and I love the way it makes my skin feel after application: smooth and irresistably supple. and on top of all that pure goodness, it's very healing; with regular use it smoothes scars and evens out skin tone. years ago I purchased from Afrikan Republic and I have no idea why I've ever strayed. I feel like I've come full circle with skin care products! Excellent customer service, excellent product, you can't go wrong here! A great product at such a low cost. I live in the hot Nevada desert and this shea butter helps my skin stay soft and beautiful. I get compliments all the time about my skin. Customer service is a serious plus with this company too.
It's terrific when you receive a product that does everything that is promised! Afrikan Republic's Unrefined Shea Butter is one such product. I have a small skin rash that has almost completely healed within one week of use! Have been using it all over as well, and my skin is incredibly soft. I am now using it as my only night cream; works great on those crows feet! Feels wonderful and it's a great value. Have recommended it to a friend with eczema, and she's seeing improvement, too. I'm sold!
