This product is so thick that it should be labeled cream or butter. I received a flip-top cap/dispenser which was useless; had to squeeze very hard for the product to dispense. So I put the container in hot water to soften but that didn't do much. Hopefully the pump is better.

That said, this is a very good body moisturizer that lasts for a minimum of 6-8 hours before you need to reapply. I put it on thick and it lasted 10 hours. Don't really smell lavender or wildflowers; has a sweet smell as do most Nubian Heritage products. Only gave it four stars because it contains synthetics (parabens, acritimer).
