I was somewhat surprised at how this soap arrived, in one big 5lb block but then again I wasn't sure what to expect being that it is marketed as bulk soap. I cut the soap into twelve pretty big (very uneven bars) but with that said, the soap is a really nice mild soap that lathers pretty decently. It has a really fresh smell to it and it doesn't aggravate my face like some of the other black soaps that we have tried although there is a tingling sensation. This soap kinda crumbles when cutting it but we were able to make fashionable little balls of soap to sit out on the sink. You will definitely get your $$$ worth buying the bulk soap. The bars lasted long enough but tends to melt if you are not careful to drain the water out of the soap dish or if you leave it open to the running water in the shower. This will possibly replace the other black soap that I purchase regularly.

I've been using this product for three weeks, and still haven't noticed a difference in my skin. It leaves my skin very dry, and my face is peeling off. How have you guys been using it because I must be doing something wrong.

This soap is a miracle! I have had problem skin and dry hair all my life, now I only use Ghana Bulk Soap to shampoo, bathe and shave my legs. I have thrown out all other products! My skin is healed, hair is moisturized and healthy, and my allergies are all but gone. It's obvious I was making my allergies worse by using expensive soap and shampoo that were making me miserable and I didn't know it. This is the only product for me! The smell is natural and fresh...forget those heavy perfumes! I have needed this soap all my life, I am blessed to have found it!

Wonderful soap! Husband loves it too! Will continue to purchase this, Others I've let try it, really like it too!
